Moderately challenging - people of most ages and fitness levels are capable of making it to the top! Even though there is a fairly steep pass, we've had active guests in their 80s get up to the summit!
Most tours will have a friendly dog with you for at least half of the hike! Please note that a dog is not guaranteed for every tour due to their wellbeing, weather, or extenuating circumstances. If having a dog on your tour is important to you, please reach out to us upon booking so we can do our best to make that happen for you!

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO PARKING NEAR THE MEETING POINT FRIDAYS - SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS. This is due to parking restrictions in the surrounding neighborhood. If you decide to park near the trailhead on these days, you risk getting a $60 ticket. On these days, the closest parking is over a mile away and would be a steep uphill walk, so we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft on these days! (We know, we hate it too!)
There are no restrooms near the meeting point or on the trail. We advise guests to use the restroom before coming to the tour. The only option for a restroom on the tour is nature! If nature does call on the trail, your guide can point out a good spot to go!
